Wellness for the
mind, body, and soul.

Tami Wilkinson, LCSW
Psychotherapist

  • I provide therapy for individuals navigating the many emotional challenges life presents, including relationship difficulties, performance pressures, anxiety, depression, addiction, work-life balance, and the management of long-term mental health conditions. I also help clients process both big and small traumas, recognizing that past experiences—whether acute or cumulative—can shape our emotional well-being and daily lives. In addition to addressing specific struggles, many clients seek therapy as a space for deeper self-exploration—gaining insight into their patterns, behaviors, and emotions to foster greater self-awareness and personal growth. My approach is tailored to each individual, offering a supportive and nonjudgmental environment to work through challenges and build a more fulfilling life.

  • Relationships go through ups and downs—sometimes you just need a little support to reconnect, and other times you may feel completely stuck, questioning whether to stay together. No matter where you and your partner find yourselves, there is always an opportunity to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and gain a deeper understanding of one another. I draw upon the Gottman Method for couples counseling, an evidence-based approach designed to help partners improve conflict resolution, foster emotional intimacy, and create lasting change. Whether you're working to repair your relationship or seeking clarity about its future, developing healthier patterns of communication will benefit you both. If you have children, building a solid foundation as co-parents—regardless of whether you remain together—can have a lasting, positive impact on their well-being.

  • Unprocessed trauma—whether from a single distressing event or repeated experiences over time—can affect the way we think, feel, and navigate daily life. I help clients develop practical coping strategies and grounding techniques to manage triggers and regain a sense of control. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional intensity. By targeting both big and small traumas, EMDR allows clients to integrate past experiences in a healthier way, fostering healing and resilience.
